Specialist Notes:


Users that this would apply to would be anyone not on Network or VPN OR anyone who is logging in for the first time. 


After 5 invalid login attempts, the user's account will be locked for 30 minutes. They will receive the following message:

'This account has been temporarily disabled due to too many invalid login attempts. Please try again in 30 minutes.'


To reset the user's password use 'I need my password reset' SR. 


If the user is on Network or VPN use 'Account Locked -SSO' SR.


Standard Response:


If you received the message 'This account has been temporarily disabled due to too many invalid login attempts. Please try again in 30 minutes', your account is locked out due to 5 invalid login attempts.

We can reset your password, but you will need to wait for exactly 30 minutes after your last login attempt before attempting to log in again.
